AE Momentforms

AE Momentforms

An AE Momentform is a concentrated form of first-person experience in relation to the world. A submitted Momentform is its articulated trace: an account of how that experience was lived.

Sky Momentforms

Deep-blue visibility, stripe–cloud–veil evolution, and lived sky quality

Here, AE Momentforms focus on the sky environment. This AE practice invites you to record how you experience deep-blue visibility, aircraft-related stripe–cloud–veil evolution, or sky conditions you cannot readily place. You can begin with one moment or sequence and always return to the sky. What happens to your experience of the sky along the way?

Observation Paths

Choose the AE observation path that comes closest to what you observed and experienced. Each path opens a way of noticing and describing lived sky quality.

Path 01

Undisturbed Deep-Blue Sky

For observations in which undisturbed deep-blue visibility is available in what you observed and experienced.

Path 02

Stripe–Cloud–Veil Evolution

For observations in which aircraft-related stripes — and any related cloud-like or veil-like appearances — are present in what you observed and experienced.

Path 03

Uncertain / Other Sky Appearance

For observations that do not clearly fit the other paths, or when the sky remains uncertain, ambiguous, or difficult to name.

What happens with submitted Momentforms?

Submitted Sky Momentforms are reviewed and curated by Aesthetic Ecologies as records of lived experience. Contributions across time may support future comparisons. A submitted Momentform is not automatically an Environmental Experience Elucidation (EEE) investigation or an Experiential Baseline. Future AE research use requires your separate optional consent; public publication or attribution requires separate permission.
